History of MCG

Introduction:

MCG is a London/Montreal-based company focusing on Blockchain-enabled supply chain traceability and carbon visibility solution in the emerging Physical Internet (PI) era.

Our 2022:

In 2022, MCG UK STOKEN initiative has been funded by Innovate UK as fast start innovation in net zero transition across the maritime shipping industry, MCG UK completed the Net-Zero II accelerator at Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership(CISL) successfully.

Our 2023:

In 2023, MCG UK has been financially supported by Innovate UK KTN for the AKT2I by collaborating with Cranfield University and the whitepaper can be accessed here:

MCG UK achieved the investment from the Green Future Investments Fund on the Ready for Net-Zero starting from in Feb 2023, and has been selected to launch MCG sustainable product with CISL Canopy on in March, 2023. And we are also key part of the Cranfield's Hydrogen Integration Incubator RPIF ecosystem in England and funded by Innovate UK Edge for the first Global Business Innovation Programme in Israel, October, 2023.

Our 2024:

In 2024, MCG' VUILA platform provides a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), we have been invited to join NVIDIA Inception programme for start-ups and also key part of the Cranfield CH2i initiative, MCG helps hydrogen producers and providers scaling commercially viable green hydrogen by four to seven years.By combining data from sensors, weather, storage, electricity prices, demand and supply in real-time to automate & optimize business decisions to increase utilization and profits. As a co-investor and key partner in CH2i, MCG leverages its expertise in hydrogen supply chain traceability and visibility to advance the project's goal of developing and deploying hydrogen as a viable, scalable aviation fuel. This collaboration underscores MCG's commitment to innovation and its pivotal role in propelling the transition to a net-zero future:

The CH2i initiative goes beyond a mere research project; it represents the establishment of a dynamic ecosystem at Cranfield, linking hydrogen production, integration, and utilization. With MCG's support, the project will build crucial infrastructure, including new laboratories, test facilities, and an advanced Hydrogen Integration Research Centre, driving the industry towards realizing the UK government's ambitious Jet Zero strategy.
